Global and digital electronics leader LG Electronics has partnered with renowned fashion designer Walid Atallah to create Fashion Tech, the first in a series of high-profile events planned by LG and aimed at blending an environment of sophisticated haute couture with innovative technology.
The fashion-cum-entertainment extravaganza, to be held at the Burj Al Arab on September 8th, will host Atallah as well as fast-rising Arabic pop diva Diana Karazon and will be held exclusively for LG dealers across the Middle East and members of the media.
The one-of-a-kind star-studded show will see Atallah showcasing some of his newest collections that have been keenly anticipated by the region's fashion-conscious consumers. Models will walk the ramp displaying an impressive line-up of the latest Atallah creations with Karazon presenting her popular tunes.
'The concept of this exciting event is to create a relaxed environment for fashionistas to enjoy a top-of-the-line runway show and have the opportunity to enjoy the latest Arabic entertainment,' explained Mr. K.W. Kim, President of LG Electronics - Middle East and Africa. 'I am confident that our guests will be in fashion heaven as they spend a stylish evening at the Burj Al Arab, soaking up the latest in fashion design along with a carefully planned menu of entertainment.'
Atallah, a high-profile Lebanese fashion designer who has made Dubai his home for the past 11 years, remains one of the most enduring figures in the region's fashion scene. As an active supporter of Dubai Fashion Week, he has commandeered his productions to blend Lebanese design heritage with the opulence of European fashion that has been the benchmark of luxury for decades.
Atallah counts among his clientele Arabian royalty and Middle Eastern celebrities, who flock to his shows for the best of haute couture. His exquisite pieces combine ethnic influence with modernity and the result is breathtaking.
Another equally prolific star confirmed to participate in Fashion Tech is Diana Karazon, the beautiful songstress from Jordan, who has been captivating international audiences ever since she won the first season of 'Superstar' on Future Television. |
